| 01The old way: A lump deposit with no names on the statement | With Altarflow: Each payout lists the gifts, refunds and fees inside it |
| 02The old way: Matching deposits to gifts by hand each month | With Altarflow: Payouts are matched to their gifts once they land |

Inside the payout
Every gift in a deposit, by name.
Open any payout to see each gift, refund and fee it holds, with the giver, the fund and the net. The net column adds up to the deposit your bank shows.
Reconciliation
Matched without you asking.
When a payout reaches your bank, Altarflow reconciles it against the transactions behind it. A payout that stalls is retried every few hours, and Reconcile clears the rest on demand.
Donor fee coverage
See who carried the fee.
Count the online gifts that covered their processing fee, the fees the church paid and your effective rate. The coverage rate sits next to the same period last year.
Fees on every gift
The settled fee, not a guess.
A gift shows an estimated fee until its payout settles. Reconciliation writes the settled fee back, so Net deposited on each gift is what reached the bank.
Also included
Payouts in transit and failed payouts marked by status, refunds shown inside the payout that carried them, past payouts imported on request, and a CSV with every transaction behind every payout.

What is a payout in Altarflow?
A payout is the batch deposit that moves online gifts from Altarflow to the church's bank. Altarflow lists every gift, refund and processing fee inside each payout by giver and fund, so the net column equals the deposit your bank shows. When the payout lands, Altarflow reconciles it and writes the settled fee back to each gift.
When is a payout reconciled?
As soon as it reaches your bank. If that step stalls, Altarflow tries again every few hours, and an admin can run Reconcile at any time.
Does it include Zelle, cash or checks?
No. Payouts hold gifts made online through Altarflow. Zelle, cash and checks are recorded as gifts and show in Donations.
Why does payout gross differ from the month’s giving?
A payout settles gifts from the days before it. A month of payouts and a month of giving cover slightly different gifts, and each total is right for what it counts.
Who can see payouts?
Admins. The Payouts report and Reconcile open only for admins, on every plan.
